Big Adventure Watersports runs the original OC Banana Boat and local parasailing rides at our 1st Street location. We are a family-owned and operated business rooted right here in Ocean City, Maryland. Kyle and Nicole Miller, the owners and operators, are local parents who know firsthand how much a great day on the water means to a family, and they can’t wait to help make your day in Ocean City, MD, full of adventure and long-lasting memories!

Kyle has been working as a Captain onboard parasail boats in Ocean City, MD, for the past 19 years. During the winters, he would travel and teach scuba diving all over the Caribbean and Hawaii. His love of the water has led to Big Adventure Watersports, a place to share and enjoy the waves. Nicole has been tirelessly working by Kyle’s side to establish their family business and make sure their legacy here on the East Coast lasts for decades to come.

A note from Kyle:

For the past 19 years, I’ve called the waters of Ocean City, Maryland, home. What started as a passion for the ocean turned into a career captaining boats along the Maryland coast and managing watersports companies.
Every winter, I’d pack up and head south (and west) to the Caribbean and Hawaii, teaching scuba diving, captaining boats, and chasing warm water. Some years were spent sailing around, learning to fly planes, or trekking. Each winter was a new opportunity, a new adventure, and a chance to improve my skills and learn from others.

That is exactly what led me to create Big Adventure Watersports. I wanted to build something that gives other people the chance to experience the thrill and joy of being on the water — whether it’s soaring above the waves on a parasail or plowing through swell on the banana boat. There’s nothing quite like that feeling, and I’ve made it my mission to share it with as many people as possible.

When you’re out on the water with us, you’re not just a customer — you’re getting 19 years of experience, a genuine love of the ocean, and a captain who lives for this stuff.
